Scholarship Applications
The scholarship applications below are submitted through the ACF office. Deadlines and requirements are stated in the application. All other scholarship applications are available through High Schools, Universities or specific organizations.
Michael Argall Scholarship
Application is AISD application with essay attachment "what are your plans post-education?" Mail application to Austin Community Foundation
(AISD graduating senior, financial need, minimum GPA 3.0, must be a track or cross country athlete - not necessarily planning to participate in college)
Deadline Date April 12, 2013
Austin Amateur Radio Club Scholarship
(must be graduating or a graduate of high school in the Central Texas area or connected with the Austin Amatuer Club, have a 3.0 (B) average and hold a valid amateur radio license and continuing to a higher institution)
Deadline Date January 31st of each year
Aimee Melissa Davis Scholarship
(must be a graduating senior from a Travis or Williamson County, Texas high school living with insulin dependent diabetes)
Deadline Date April 5, 2013
El Paso Social Network High School Scholarship
(must be a graduating senior of an El Paso, Texas area high school and attending any Austin, Texas area college, university or vocational school, must be a resident of El Paso, financial need, minimum GPA of 3.0, class rank in top 20%)

Mary Susan Lewis Memorial Scholarship for Christians in Journalism
(must be a University of Texas student who has completed 18 semester hours, planning to major in journalism, minimum GPA 3.0 and a Christian)

Nick Reinhart Memorial Scholarship
(must be a dependent of a National Instruments employee in the United States and a graduating senior)

SoundWave Music Scholarship
(must be a graduating senior from a Travis or Wiliamson County public high school, minimum GPA of 3.0 on 4.0 scale, must be accepted into a music program at an accredited undergraduate institution)

Support Behind the Badge Scholarship Fund
The Support Behind the Badge Scholarship in memory of Leonard Reed is offered to graduating seniors from a Leander ISD High School (Rouse High School, Cedar Park High School, Leander High School, Vista Ridge High School). Applicant must be a resident of Texas, have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and intend to pursue a career in law enforcement.
Applications must be postmarked by February 15, 2013
